Latarcsha Britt Consulting was founded with one goal in mind: to support families through the complex process of applying for the Katie Beckett Medicaid Waiver. We know how overwhelming it can be to navigate medical systems and paperwork—especially when your priority is caring for your child. That’s where we come in.
Our founder, Latarcsha Britt, brings over 14 years of experience in social services and a deep understanding of Medicaid systems. Born and raised in St. George, South Carolina, Latarcsha began her career helping vulnerable individuals at the South Carolina Department of Disability and Special Needs. Her passion for service led her to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.
After working with the South Carolina Department of Social Services for over a decade, Latarcsha relocated to Georgia during the COVID-19 pandemic and joined the Katie Beckett Medicaid Unit within the Georgia Department of Community Health. There, she helped families directly and saw how impactful the right support can be.
